‘Tis the season! It’s that time of year where rumors and trade proposals are flying around the internet at breakneck speeds. And this year, the Indiana Pacers are right in the middle of it. With the Pacers losing more and more games as of late, the likelihood that they may make a move has increased.

This means that people around the league and fans of all types are proposing some of the  most ridiculous trades you will find. With expendable veterans such as Myles Turner and Buddy Hield on the team, other franchises and fans may believe they could buy low.

But as the Pacers have shown in recent years, they are bound and determined to get value out of their trades. The most recent example being demanding two-first round picks for Turner and Hield from the Los Angelos Lakers.

The Indiana Pacers won’t bow down to large market teams, but rather, seem to have a mindset of waiting until the right opportunity strikes. Would this suggested trade from the Dallas Mavericks fit the bill of the “right opportunity”?

Let’s take a look at the proposed trade and then we can give the 8 points, 9 seconds grade on the trade.
