A trade between the Golden State Warriors and Indiana Pacers rumored
By Joe Lyon
The Pacers should jump on this chance given the opportunity
If the Indiana Pacers are offered something that even resembles this trade, they should pursue it. Getting a young big man and a potential 3-and-D wing in return for Myles Turner is invaluable. Additionally, you would be opening up minutes for other big men on the team such as Isaiah Jackson and Goga Bitadze.
While both Myles and Terry would be a loss for the team, these players are often superfluous at the moment to what the team needs. In contrast, Terry Taylor could perform in many ways as a back-up to Draymond Green, doing much of the effort-work on the court such as offensive rebounds and diving for loose balls.
The Warriors might be more concerned to give up on two younger players this early in their career. However, if the Warriors decide that they want to make another run at the championship, they should do everything in their power to make that happen. Even if that is trading away two of your talented young pieces to get a veteran center that instantly enhances shooting on offense and defensive pressure across the court.
