Will the Indiana Pacers try to pluck from the Raptors?

The Toronto Raptors and their disruptive style of basketball have not done much for them in the wins department so far this season. As things currently stand, they boast a losing record, which is flat-out disappointing for a young team which surprisingly made the playoffs in the previous campaign.

Bleacher Report suggests that the Pacers are one of the teams interested in the Raptors’ surplus of tradeable players, a list that includes OG Anunoby, Scottie Barnes, Gary Trent Jr., and Fred VanVleet. Of those names, the first two make a ton of sense for Indiana.

Anunoby is inarguably the Pacers’ dream target as a legitimate two-way force in the forward position. Meanwhile, Barnes has struggled a ton this season, but given his upside, it’s still within the realm of logic to simply toss this up as the proverbial sophomore slump. Toronto’s asking price will definitely be lofty for any bidder though.

Verdict: Buy on the Pacers being interested on Anunoby and Barnes, sell on them landing either player this season
