In this article, we take a look at and grade some recent mock trades for the Indiana Pacers across the NBA and ask the age-old question, would it benefit the Pacers to accept such a deal?

Mock trades are a difficult task because they often are heavily favored towards one team, make no sense for either team, or are so far from reality that it hardly seems worth considering them. They often hold a lot of star power and rely on one team deciding to sell low on one of their valuable assets.

Yet, there is a sense of excitement in comparing assets across different teams and trying to decode what the underlying motivations for each organization would be. Is the organization getting ready to tank? Is the organization going to trade for the final piece? Such is the life and speculation of a fan.

The Indiana Pacers seem to be at a fork in the road. They seem to have quite a bit of talent, but could also lean towards rebuilding for a bit longer before trying to make a run at the playoffs. With generational talents like Bennedict Mathurin and Tyrese Haliburton, the team seems poised for long-term success.

Would these four trades make that more of a possibility?
