The Indiana Pacers finish a long road trip and come back to Gainbridge Fieldhouse towards the end of the week. In this article we take a look at the week ahead for the Indiana Pacers.

Pacers at Warriors on 12/5

The Indiana Pacers take on the Warriors for the first time this season. The Warriors are 13-11 and have looked okay this year. Steph Curry is on a tear and is looking back to his MVP-level play.

The Pacers on the other hand have been having a rough stretch of road games, in which they have started to look like the young team that they are. Rough losses to both the Los Angeles Clippers and Sacramento Kings have halted some of the early season progress.

The two teams have more similar offenses that they have in recent years with fast transition offense and lots of 3-point shooting. Look for this one to be a close one, but the Warriors seem to have more momentum and home-court advantage.

Our prediction: Warriors win a close one at home.

Pacers at Timberwolves on 12/7

The Indiana Pacers take on the Timberwolves for the second time this season on the 12/7. In the first meeting, the Pacers lost in a game where Rudy Gobert finally looked the part of the star Minnesota traded for. However, the Timberwolves have largely been disappointing this season at 11-12. While this may cause them to be hungry for wins, the Pacers have had a few recent disappointments to fuel motivation.

Our prediction: Pacers win comfortably.

Pacers vs. Wizards 12/9

The expectation for the Wizards weren’t terribly high coming into the season, and they haven’t really outperformed to date. They are currently sitting at 11-12 with a losing record. They have also lost five of their last six games.

The Indiana Pacers have played the Wizards twice this season, splitting the series so far. In the most recent win, the Pacers won rather comfortably. Expect this game to be a bit closer than the last one, but expect the Pacers to come out ignited, finally being home from a long road trip.

Our prediction: Pacers win a close one in their return to Gainbridge.

Pacers vs. Nets 12/10

The Nets are a bit of a curious case this season. They have been streaky at best, currently sitting at 13-11. The Pacers have already played them three times this season, having won two of the three meetings. The Nets are on an uptick recently having won seven of their last nine. Expect them to come out ready to play and still with good energy only being on the first game of a road trip.

While the Pacers will be at home, the Nets have an edge talent-wise. We expect this game to be a relative toss-up.

Our prediction: Pacers lose a thriller at home.
