Andrew Nembhard Update: Puts the world on notice with buzzer-beater over Leborn.

Andrew Nembhard has continued to look better and better his first season in the league. Over the month of November he continued to increase his role. He did suffer an injury and needed to be away for a handful of games, but came back to have possibly the shot of the season.

Let’s take a look at Nembhard’s numbers so far.

Andrew Nembhard through October: 5.4 PT, 2.7 AST, 1.9 RB, 42% FG, 50% 3-PT
Andrew Nembhard through November: 7.1 PT, 2.9 AST, 2.3 RB, 44% FG, 45% 3-PT

Nembhard has upped his minutes on the floor as well as has seen increases in his points, assists, and rebounds per game. His performance is getting to the point that he is a reliable role player for the Pacers and looks like he may have a ceiling of a starting guard in the NBA.

Of note also, is that Nembhard is often guarding the most talented guard on the other team, such as spending significant time on Lebron James when the Pacers played the Lakers. If his defense continues to be at a high level, he could find himself a starter in this league much sooner than expected.
