When paired with Haliburton, Bennedict Mathurin has the opportunity to be an All-Star in this league. His shooting, aggressive driving to the lane, and tenacity on the court form the basis for a very bright future in this league.
While the sample size is small, all signs point to Mathurin being a central piece and cornerstone of this Pacers team for years to come. He easily is in the conversation for ROTY and gets to the free-throw line at a historic pace. He has been so good that it isn’t obvious that he is only the second-best player on this team.
