3 biggest takeaways from the Indiana Pacers’ win over the New York Knicks

3. The three-point shooting woes continue

If there’s one thing that has been consistently lacking for the Indiana Pacers, it’s definitely their struggles from the three-point line.

The Pacers’ problems from rainbow country have something to do with both quantity and quality. In three preseason games so far, the has drained just 28 of its 93 three point tries for a measly 30.1 percent conversion rate.

Obviously, Indiana has been substandard from beyond the arc percentage-wise. However, that the Pacers have been hoisting only 31 three-point attempts per game is quite surprising, especially with the team now trotting a guard-heavy, perimeter-oriented attack to supercharge a willful offensive style.

Hopefully, the Pacers overcome the presumable preseason jitters and climb back to normalcy from downtown, especially with the kind of firepower they have from the three-point line in the form of Tyrese Haliburton, Buddy Hield, Chris Duarte, etc.
