Target No. 2 for the Indiana Pacers with the 60th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft

Oscar Tshiebwe | C | Kentucky | 6’9” | 252 LBS

This is arguably a savvy pick at number 60. Kentucky standout Oscar Tshiebwe has not been popular in several mocks, but his most recent campaign should vault him to a possible spot in the upcoming draft.

While undersized as a five-man, Tshiebwe’s greatest skill is his scoring prowess as a mobile big man, excelling in finishing around the basket and scoring in the low post. He has also shown glimpses of being an adequate mid-range shooter, while his rebounding is top-notch. His court awareness may be lacking, but that could be mitigated by playing a straightforward role as a roll man and finisher.

The Indiana Pacers need depth in the frontcourt. The Kentucky product has some noticeable lapses in his game, but if he manages to press the right buttons, he could end up being a solid big man anchor for the team in the second unit. Think of Montrezl Harrell, who boasts a similar skillset.
