The Indiana Pacers are headed to a climactic 2022 NBA Draft. After a poor season record-wise, the franchise will tout an ample deck of draft picks to use as they continue to reshape the roster, owning three of them in total.

Aside from having a big chance to clinch a top pick, as well as owning the foremost selection in the second round, the Pacers will also be picking last in the draft, having received the Phoenix Suns’ second-round pick this year in the Torrey Craig deal.

The 60th pick in the NBA Draft is perhaps the least lustrous, but with the right and sneaky scouting and some dash of luck, Indiana could still find a hidden gem with their final selection. Here are three prospects that they should zoom in at no. 60.

Target No. 1 for the Indiana Pacers with the 60th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft

Jabari Walker | SF | Colorado | 6’8” | 200 LBS

Colorado freshman Jabari Walker did not log much minutes in his first year and logged less efficient numbers with more robust court time in his sophomore year, but he has all the tools to possibly succeed in the big league.

Boasting a good frame and athleticism, Walker could be a good developmental piece for the Indiana Pacers. Better yet, he fills a position of need and skillset fits well with the team’s design, since his three-point shooting is rock solid and he has a good presence as a rebounder and defender.

With the Pacers only having one big wing with a guaranteed spot next season in Oshae Brissett, they have to invest in adding length to their frail wing rotation. Walker is not a game-changer in that regard, but should he remain on the board, there are few options better than him at that juncture.
