There were many fun moments from the Pacer’s rookie class this season. Chris Duarte proved quickly that his age at the time of the draft wasn’t going to be a problem and in turn had a solid rookie year.

Chris Duarte’s buzzer-beater against the Lakers

This was another great highlight in the month of November for the Indiana Pacers. This was a controversial no-call as Duarte knocks down the game tieing three to send the game to overtime against the Lakers at home.

Part of this highlight is the reaction from both announcers Chris Denari and Quinn Bucker as they watched Duarte hit the toughest shot of the season. I was actually at this game and this was a stadium filled with Lakers fans, so Duarte giving the Pacers fans something to cheer like this was special.

Duarte scored 17 points in this game and was 7/18 from the field in what would be an overtime loss for the Pacers. The loss aside, this was a great play from Duarte who took another step in proving how confident he is behind the three-point line.
