Pacers vs Wizards Prediction
The sun rose today, as far as I can tell, so it’s time to take another Pacers over. After going over the total last night against the Bucks, the over is now 10-1 in Indiana games since Myles Turner went down with an injury. They’re a team with sharp-shooters who play fast but don’t play defense, which aligns perfectly with an over play.
Since Turner’s injury, the Pacers rank 29th in defensive rating and play at the 6th-fastest pace in the league. Buddy Hield went off for 36 points last night and Indiana shot 17-of-41 from beyond the arc, and I expect a similar three-point onslaught against a Wizards defense that ranks 19th in opposing 3-point percentage for the season.
The Wizards have put up at least 110 points in each of their last three games and should have no problem getting to that number again. In what I expect to be a close game, all we need is some free throws at the end to help push us over the total.
