I’ve recently spoken about how the Indiana Pacers may eventually be more inclined to moving Myles Turner to settle the dust in their frontcourt, but many fans are still wary about the franchise moving in that direction for reasons more justified than not.

However, things took a brief turn following last night’s road loss to the Boston Celtics. Having played just 23 minutes in a game decided in overtime, many aired their dissatisfaction regarding Turner’s reduced role. Rather surprisingly, the big man himself followed up and even sent a cryptic post of his own on social media.

Myles Turner’s stint with the Indiana Pacers may be coming to a close soon

Given how the Pacers have fared recently sans Turner in a prominent role, the breakup between the Blue and Gold and its longest-tenured player ay be inching closer to reality. As the trade deadline looms, interest around the defensive-minded stretch big is expected to be plenty in the following weeks.

While Indiana should have some obvious and ideal trade partners who can present enticing deals for their prized big man, the front office should brace themselves and ramp up their resistance from pesky, yet groundless rumors. Specifically, some teams simply do not make sense to engage with in a trade scenario for Turner.

Without further ado, here are three teams that the Indiana Pacers should stay away from in any Myles Turner deal.
