After career-high performances from both Lance Stephenson and Domas Sabonis, the Indiana Pacers go on the road to take on the Boston Celtics.

These two teams have yet to play this season. They will play each other back to back, one in Boston and then they face off in Indiana on Wednesday.

The duo of Lance Stephenson and Domas Sabonis was spectacular in the Pacers’ win over the Utah Jazz on Jan. 08.

Sabonis had a career-high 42 points (18/22), hitting three of his four three-point attempts. Lance Stephenson helped contribute to the career scoring night, dishing a career-high of his own, 14 assists for the Indiana Pacers.

Indiana Pacers vs Utah Jazz Prediction

The Pacers are starting to get healthier bodies after being stricken with COVID. The Pacers could still be missing their offensive firepower in Malcolm Brogdon and Caris LeVert, but they will have the unstoppable Stephenson-Sabonis duo.

Their current record of 15-25 is not all that telling of the true skill of this roster. I am not using Injuries as an excuse, but the COVID-19 protocols are certainly hurting the Pacers.

The Pacers could be without eight players, with Brogdon, Craig, and Jackson questionable to play. The team however did get Chris Duarte and Jeremy Lamb back in the rotation after missing time in health and safety protocols.

The Celtics are 19-21, the 10th seed in the Eastern Conference.

As for the Celtics, they are near full health, and with both Jason Taytum and Jalen Brown healthy for tonight’s matchup, the Pacers will have their hands full defensively.

If we can see Stephenson and Sabonis’ chemistry continue to shine on the road, adding to the win column will be much easier.
