After taking care of business at home against the Houston Rockets, the Indiana Pacers look to add to the win column tonight in Chicago.

The Indiana Pacers are currently 13th in the Eastern Conference with a record of 14 wins and19 losses. Tonight they will face the 2nd place Chicago Bulls who will be with their usual starting five.

The Bulls had 10 players in the league’s health and safety protocols in the month of December and remain a top team in the East with a record of 19 wins and 10 losses.

Myles Turner is coming off a fantastic performance against the Rockets with Domantas Sabonis missing his first game of the season. Turner scored 32 points with 10 rebounds in his absence.

Caris LeVert was able to fill the point guard duties with Malcolm Brogdon out, with a season-high 11 assists. The team will desperately need him to continue that distribution if Brogdon can not play in tonight’s game.

The last time these teams played, on Nov. 22, the Pacers beat Chicago by 32 points.

Projected Pacers starting lineup tonight

PG: Caris LeVert

SG: Chris Duarte

SF: Justin Holiday

PF: Oshae Brissett

C: Myles Turner

Indiana Pacers vs Chicago Bulls Prediction

I think the Pacers’ chances are going to be decided in how they start the game. They will need to set the tone early, with the potential to be without three starters in Malcolm, Sabonis, and Warren.

Myles Turner was able to do this against Houston, attacking the basket and had 6 first-quarter points along with 4 rebounds. Pacers will rely heavily on Myles to get similar production offensively if they want a shot.

If he can do that, and the Pacers’ rotational players can contribute I think they have a shot at victory.

However, the Bulls are in 2nd place in the Eastern Conference for a reason. Since they have their complete starting five, I think they will oust the Pacers in this contest.

Bulls 112, Pacers 102
