Caris LeVert looked great in his season debut for the Indiana Pacers

Making his season debut after missing the first six games due to injury, starting shooting guard Caris LeVert looked like a much improved player even in limited minutes, nearly leading the team in scoring with 15 markers despite only seeing 16 minutes of court time.

LeVert showed no considerable rust at all to kick off his sixth year in the league, sinking six of his 10 attempts overall while tallying a couple of dimes and steals in his first game back before being shelved by the coaching staff in the second half as he eases his way to his full allotment of minutes. The starting wing combination of him and Chris Duarte looked solid and encouraging.

With Malcolm Brogdon and TJ Warren still nursing injuries, LeVert will be a massive aid to the reeling Indiana Pacers. Even on the heels of an injury, he can serve as a primary scoring option while assuming pseudo point guard duties in the interim. Also, his defense should return to form eventually and instill some moxie on that end, where the team is still struggling at.
