No. 5: Myles Turner

This is no surprise given that Turner is the biggest question mark of the starting five but that is not a discredit to him as a player. He is clearly one of the best interior defenders in the NBA and will return to his old self this season. His offseason appears to be going well as Turner shared that he has cut some weight and looks very explosive in the open floor.

Myles has yet to reach his ceiling on offense and that will always hold him back a little bit as a player. Still, his presence and impact on the other end of the floor will be invaluable for this team in 2021-22. Turner is the saving grace for the Pacers on defense and fans need to accept that as the truth.

I can live with Turner being the worst (I guess?) player in the starting lineup. If you have four players better than him on the floor, you are doing something right as a franchise. Regardless of where you stand on the Turner/Sabonis debate, both are very good players in their own right.

Myles Turner is going to be a problem this season and that is good news for the Pacers.
