No. 4: Malcolm Brogdon

Malcolm Brogdon does just about everything you want in a starting point guard. Still, I have a hard time believing that he will be a go-to guy for this team in 2021-22 if they are healthy. There are just too many quality offensive options in front of him but that will make Brogdon even more valuable.

As defenses key in on Warren, LeVert, and Sabonis, Brogdon will be free to attack the cup and get up shots from the perimeter whenever he feels it necessary. He is a very strong candidate to lead the team in scoring after posting 21.2 points per game last season.

Indiana will have a number of scoring threats in 2021-22 but Brogdon is the sneaky pick to lead the team thanks to his aggressiveness. Although he ranks fourth on this list, Brogdon could easily finish the season near the top if he gets back on track defensively under Rick Carlisle.

The Pacers have a very safe piece in Malcolm Brogdon starting at point guard. He is going to give them a handful of points each night with the occasional 30-point showing. My biggest concern, as with the rest of the starting lineup, is the injury history and long-term availability of Brogdon.
