Power ranking all five starters for the Indiana Pacers

How do the Indiana Pacers starters rank for this upcoming season?

The Indiana Pacers are bringing back the same starting lineup as the end of last season but things have changed a bit with how each guy will fit into the team. Caris LeVert slides into the spot that Victor Oladipo held at the beginning of the season a year ago but that’s the only change in the starting five.

All five guys in that starting group bring plenty to the table and will be crucial pieces as this season progresses. Four of the five are capable of dropping 20 points per game while two of those are dangerous scoring threats every time they touch the floor.

Add in a defensive machine and a lot of experience from the group and the Pacers are very competitive on paper. The starting lineup is going to be a problem for opponents all season long. They just need to make sure the defense can limit the damage enough to let the scoring prowess take over.

Indiana heads into the season with a huge chip on its shoulder thanks to a horrendous season by their standards last season. Let’s hope Rick Carlisle is the guy to turn things around and lead the Pacers back to the playoffs.
