Which current Indiana Pacers could be traded by the trade deadline next season?
The 2021-22 NBA season is still a little over a month away but teams are always looking at ways to get better. The Indiana Pacers, who were pretty busy during the NBA Draft with trades, will have a handful of players that will be available at the trade deadline during the season.
There is still a logjam of talent across the roster with far more depth than playable minutes, leaving several quality players out of the mix. Indiana should be open to making moves between now and the trade deadline to open up roster spots and create extra cap space for the future. They could also use the deadline to stock up on future draft picks.
Aaron Holiday was already swapped for rookie forward Isaiah Jackson during the NBA Draft to create an open spot in the backcourt while giving Indiana some extra depth behind Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner. That should not be the only move Indiana is looking to make to shake things up.
Which other players should be on the trading block heading into the season? To be quite honest, there are a lot of guys on the current roster who should question their future in Indiana but here are the best candidates to be moved.
