The Indiana Pacers didn’t get much love from NBA 2K last season, but that could change in the upcoming installation.

NBA 2K’s latest iteration is getting closer being released. To boot, Indiana Pacers All-Star big man Domantas Sabonis recently had his player rating revealed, joining a pool of players, primarily the biggest names, to have their marks for NBA 2K22 known to fans.

In NBA 2K21, the video game’s previous installment, the Blue and Gold was ranked as a middling team in general, with Sabonis the team’s highest rated player at 87. While the team banners a solid crop of fringe All-Stars to round out the starting unit, the Pacers don’t really have a top-tier talent who can singlehandedly hoist them as one of the league’s better clubs.

To be fair, their subpar rating in the previous iteration was reflective of their year-long struggles in the previous campaign, with Indiana’s season ending in an uncharacteristic playoff absence and a lottery finish.

With a cleaner slate heading into the 2021-22 season and hopefully, a healthier squad to deploy under new coach Rick Carlisle, the Indiana Pacers should be right back in the playoff mix. However, will the much anticipated NBA 2K22 believe the same. Here is our predictions on how every player from the team will be rated, starting with the bench.
