Despite the 2021 NBA Free Agency still in its early seams, the Indiana Pacers are virtually set roster-wise. With 15 players already on board for next season, expecting a new addition via the free agent market is basically out of the woods.

However, this does not mean that Indiana has exhausted all its options to improve the team. They may be safely taken out of the free agency picture, but the trade market should still pique the Pacers’ interest, especially with all the player movement that has defined the early junctures of the offseason.

While the roster is currently loaded, the Indiana Pacers can still pursue a trade to make some incremental changes

It’s no secret among Pacers circles that standing pat is far from an ideal disposition for fans and pundits alike. Not only is waiting for their players to get healthy a risky proposition, but the all-around improvement in the Eastern Conference does more than simply keep Indiana on its toes, cementing the need for a change, one way or another, especially in the frontcourt.

Thus, the Indiana Pacers’ itch for postseason relevance, in the face of fortified competition, should be more than enough impetus for them to move the needle on trades. Despite a full roster, here are three frontcourt trade targets that the team could still pursue at this point in the offseason.
