The Toronto Raptors could make an enticing offer to the Indiana Pacers

Toronto can make a handful of splashes this summer, whether they decide to move Pascal Siakam or package the 4th overall pick for a proven player. One player they could value is Myles Turner, though constructing a deal with Indiana may be a bit more challenging than others.

There is a scenario in which the Pacers could trade up from 13th overall and acquire the 4th overall pick in this draft to secure a top talent in the class. A deal would likely include some combination of Myles Turner, Aaron Holiday, and future draft picks with the Raptors sending back Stanley Johnson or Rodney Hood.

The Raptors fell off in a major way last season but are in a position to get back into the middle of the pack in the East. If the Pacers are determined to move Myles Turner, going all in and trying to lock up a top pick is worth exploring. Stanley Johnson has not lived up to his early hype but adding him to the rotation in Indiana is worth adding the 4th overall pick.

However the Raptors go about this draft, it will give Indiana a sense of how competitive they expect to be in 2021-22. Could they move Fred VanVleet, Pascal Siakam, or OG Anunoby? The Pacers should be very interested in what the Raptors do.
