What could the Indiana Pacers expect in return for Myles Turner?

The speculation of a Myles Turner trade will probably never disappear as long as he is with the Indiana Pacers. This summer, the rumors continue to pile up as the Pacers are in a position to make a blockbuster move for the future. With a lottery pick and several starters worth exploring trades for, Indiana could be active all summer.

Debating which center should be traded down the line is an argument that will always turn fans against each other. Those who side with trading Domantas Sabonis value Turner’s defense more than the offense of Sabonis. The others value Sabonis’ ability to run the offense and be a focal point on that end over the lack of progress from Turner.

That divide has been in Indiana since Sabonis joined the starting lineup. I think both centers are deserving of a starting spot and are both very good at what they are asked to do. The only downside, though, is the failed two-big lineup that the Pacers have tried for several years now. At some point, they have to move on and try something new.

I am all for the Pacers making a move this offseason to fit the modern NBA and bring out the best of the current roster. If trading Myles Turner becomes a must, the Pacers cannot settle for a bad package. This is not a suggestion of trades because I want Turner gone but rather an expectation of what his return may look like.

Here are three trade packages that make sense for Myles Turner if the Indiana Pacers decide to move him.
