NBA Mock Draft 15th Pick: Washington Wizards – Jalen Johnson

As impressive as the Wizards’ late-season rally to sneak into the playoffs was, Washington enters the season on the outside looking in. Among Eastern Conference teams who made the postseason, they are the most vulnerable, especially when considering their top-heavy roster that is obviously lacking in the frontcourt.

Bradley Beal’s uncertain future aside, the Wizards only have Rui Hachimura and Daniel Gafford as viable options for the team’s competitive bid. The one-dimensional Davis Bertans should be quickly traded at the first opportunity. Thus, Jalen Johnson should be their popular pick at this juncture, with the Duke tweener possessing an intriguing all-around game highlighted by uncanny court vision and versatile defense.
