The Indiana Pacers and their front office’s renewed aggressiveness on the roster building front has culminated in the team being a common sight in the rumor mill. Just recently, the Blue and Gold were rumored to have proposed a deal with the 76ers involving All-Star Ben Simmons and guard Malcolm Brogdon.

As the offseason continues to gain steam with the NBA Finals nearing its conclusion, teams with lofty ideas for the following campaign, such as the Pacers, who are coming off an off-putting season and now banner some changes, are starting to cement themselves as key players in the summer. As a matter of fact, Bleacher Report proposed a big trade involving Indiana.

B/R proposed Indiana Pacers-Sacramento Kings deal involving Domantas Sabonis

In the proposed deal, the Indiana Pacers send All-Star big man Domantas Sabonis to the Sacramento Kings for forward Harrison Barnes, guard Delon Wright and their ninth and 39th picks in the upcoming 2021 NBA Draft.

Sabonis isn’t a household name by any means, but his all-around skillset as an offensive force for the Blue and Gold already resulted into two All-Star nods in his young career. Clearly, the Pacers will demand a hefty return for the talented center. Will the Kings’ offer in this proposal suffice to pull the trigger on a deal? Let’s zoom in.
