NBA Mock Draft 27th Pick: Brooklyn Nets

The Brooklyn Nets’ only true weakness is in the center position. While they employ more small-ball lineups anyway, the fact remains that the team can’t mobilize Blake Griffin or the young Nicolas Claxton against Joel Embiid or Nikola Jokic. Day’Ron Sharpe’s back to the basket game should supply the team with a consistent threat on the paint while providing shotblocking.

NBA Mock Draft 28th Pick: Philadelphia 76ers

Danny Green’s steady hand this season may have priced himself out of Philly. Hence, the 76ers need to be wise and stack on depth in the wing positions to soften the blow of a possible exit. Virginia’s Trey Murphy III’s switchability on defense should be a welcome addition to Philadelphia’s defensive-minded system.
