NBA Mock Draft 14th Pick: Golden State Warriors
After a two-year NBA Playoffs sabbatical, the Golden State Warriors should be right back in the mix next season. However, the Dubs must make it a point to surround the team with shooters and defenders that can seamlessly fit with their detailed schemes around the Splash Brothers, especially on the bench.
With Kelly Oubre most likely pricing himself out of Golden State’s range, Arkansas’ Moses Moody could be the perfect piece to fill his void next season. He is long and switchable on defense, can hit the three ball on a rate that is enough to command attention, and perhaps, more importantly, he arms the Warriors with a much-needed boost on the youth department, especially with the team bugged by injuries in recent years.
It would be quite of a bummer for Moody to fall all the way down to 14th, but landing in Golden State would be perfect for him. While Steve Kerr has a relatively short leash on rookies, playing next to Curry, Thompson and Green will benefit all parties involved.
