Congratulations to Tom Thibodeau for winning Coach of the Year, but please stop overplaying Taj Gibson due to nepotism. Kentucky’s Isaiah Jackson and his all-around efficiency would easily be a better fit with Julius Randle or even Obi Toppin off the bench. As an added bonus, he can score the ball, unlike, well, Taj Gibson.

The defending champs (not for long) need a big help on the playmaking-outside-of-LeBron department. Dennis Schroder shattered under pressure in the postseason while being thoroughly inconsistent on both ends. Sharife Cooper should get the job done, more so with Alex Caruso and Talen Horton-Tucker’s impending free agency.
