What should the Indiana Pacers expect from T.J. Warren next season?
By Luke Parrish
After missing nearly the entire 2020-21 season, T.J. Warren is set for an important return to the Indiana Pacers.
His first season with the Indiana Pacers was an exciting one for T.J. Warren. He posted a career-high with 19.8 points per game and dominated during his stay in the NBA’s bubble. The incredible run to end his season left many Pacers fans with an urge to watch Warren last season as he was set to emerge as a real threat under Nate Bjorkgren.
Unfortunately, Warren played in just four games due to an injury that shut him down before he even got started. He managed to drop 15.5 points per game in his four appearances but did not hit a single three-point shot after connecting on 40.3 percent of his attempts the year prior.
Indiana desperately missed a scoring wing in Warren but found success with other guys all season long. Malcolm Brogdon, Caris LeVert, and Domantas Sabonis all had big nights from time to time. Adding Warren to a starting group with those other three guys could give Indiana a dangerous offense.
Any chance you can have potentially four players capable of averaging 20 points per game is an opportunity worth exploring. When he returns to the floor next season, what should the Pacers expect from T.J. Warren and his fit with the rest of the roster?
