Ideal trade partner for the Indiana Pacers: New Orleans Pelicans

Despite easily possessing the league’s most talented young core, the New Orleans Pelicans failed to even crack the play-in territory, finishing 11th in the West. While patience is key for an inexperienced bunch, they cannot go overboard with the waiting game, especially with big markets already eyeing their treasured players.

As such, the Pels’ front office will surely try to surround Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram with key players that can help them build a solid playoff cast that can even propel them to contender status. And one target that the Crescent City has been monitoring for quite a while is Myles Turner, whose skillset perfectly complements Zion’s bruising game.

However, there are other deals with the Pelicans involving the Indiana Pacers that can be made beyond sending the prolific shot blocker to New Orleans. I’ve mentioned the possibility of Lonzo Ball in Indianapolis before, and that holds true today as the fit simply makes too sense to not gain traction.

Possible pieces on the move: Lonzo Ball, Jaxson Hayes, Steven Adams
