Washington Wizards at Indiana Pacers, May 8 (7:00 ET)

Here we come again. At the current juncture, the Wizards are starting to flirt with the 9th seed, and they will have every opportunity to swipe it away from the Pacers. Having already clinched the tiebreaker after winning two out of two meetings this season, they will head to Indianapolis carrying significant momentum.

As seen in the previous meetings between these two teams, not much defense is played and this will be a battle of offenses. Hence, the Pacers should get back to the drawing board and avoid playing victims to Washington’s breakneck pace and drives to the paint. In their last meeting, the Wizards exploded for 154 points on 50 assists, 96 points in the paint and 61.2 percent shooting from the floor.

Russell Westbrook has played amazingly versus Indiana this year, averaging an eye-popping 24.5/17.5/22.5 video game line in two matchups. With a 30-point scorer in Bradley Beal as well, the Pacers will only win this contest if they slow down their explosive backcourt. Ultimately, with a sense of urgency, look for the Navy and Gold to exact revenge against Washington and win in another high-scoring affair.

Final Score: Indiana 127, Washington 116
