The Indiana Pacers have a schedule for the rest of the preseason.

NBA training camps are slated to begin on Dec. 1 with preseason games taking place shortly after. The Indiana Pacers will open training camp on Tuesday with much of the same roster in place from last year’s team. Aside from Nate McMillan‘s firing, the Pacers retain the core of the team and are expected to enter the season with that same group.

With camp starting this week, the Pacers have reported back to Indianapolis. Their first game action will take place less than two weeks when they travel to Cleveland for the first preseason game. Indiana opens the preseason on Dec. 12 in Cleveland and will play another exhibition against the Cavaliers in Cleveland on Dec. 14.

Indiana will return home for its third and final preseason match, hosting the Philadelphia 76ers on Dec. 18. Each team in the NBA will play at least two exhibitions but cannot play more than four. Following the final preseason game, Indiana will have at least four days to prepare for their first meaningful game of the 2020-21 season.

The regular season will begin on Dec. 22, three weeks after training camps open and a few days after final preseason games. It will be interesting to see how teams respond to a weird offseason and limited action leading into the opening games.

At this time, there is no regular-season schedule available or released, nor is there a timetable for when it will be released. As the NBA season nears, it would be nice to have some sort of schedule ahead of time.
