Indiana Pacers: 3 players we’d like to eat Thanksgiving dinner with
By Luke Parrish
T.J. Warren
The Pacers stole T.J. Warren from the Phoenix Suns last offseason and he has turned into one of the best players on the team. After dropping 53 points in the bubble last season, people around the league are beginning to recognize his game. Now, Warren returns as the team’s leading scorer with a chance to be the star of the Pacers this season.
Indiana has a star in the making with Warren, who led the team with 19.8 points per game last season. If Indiana stays healthy, Warren can the leading scorer once again on a team that features two All-Stars. If things go his way, there’s a slim chance he can become an All-Star himself, as long as he and the Pacers have success this year.
Oh, and obviously the fun of having Warren at the table is the chance to ask about his feud with Jimmy Butler. We all know the story of Warren and Butler by now, but things have been pretty quiet as far as that goes. Neither player has come out and made any important statements about the incident, but instead have put it behind them and moved on.
In a closed-door, off-the-record setting, perhaps we can convince Warren to share more of his thoughts. It fueled the Pacers and their fans for the end of the season and it would be interesting to hear his recollection of the feud.
