Which Indiana Pacers would you like to eat Thanksgiving dinner with?

As we gather around the metaphorical table this year to celebrate Thanksgiving, the Indiana Pacers will be preparing for their upcoming season. As they retain most of their lineup from last season, it is only fair that we include them at our table. Here are the three players I would love to have as guests this year.

Jeremy Lamb

Coming off an injury, Jeremy Lamb can still be a great role player for Indiana this season. On the court, he is a quality scoring threat off the bench that can lead the second unit. Off the court, Lamb is very interesting as well. His Instagram is one of the best on the team, keeping things light and positive at all times.

Lamb came to Indiana last summer but has become a bit of a fan-favorite because of his attitude and demeanor. He only cares about helping the team and doing his job to the best of his ability. Having him at the dinner table would give us a glimpse into his personality and energy off the court.

But that’s not the main reason I want him as a guest. His injury last season was one that I fear just as a fan of the game. Structural damage of the knee is never easy to cope with or recover from. I would be very intrigued to hear how his recovery is going and how he kept his spirits high while on the road back from injury. I’d want to see how even someone like Lamb stays positive when things look so grim.
