Indiana Pacers rumored to have interest in Bogdan Bogdanovic

The Indiana Pacers have interest in another free-agent guard.
After missing out on Gordon Hayward, the Indiana Pacers have shown interest in another guard, according to sources. Bogdan Bogdanovic, a restricted free agent with the Sacramento Kings, is a rumored target via sign-and-trade for Indiana.
Bogdanovic is purely a scorer who has emerged as a real weapon with the Kings. In three NBA seasons, he is averaging 13.5 points per game on .434/.374/.806 shooting splits. Last season, Bogdanovic posted 15.1 points per game and shot 37.2 percent from deep while increasing his attempts substantially.
The Kings utilized Bogdanovic’s ability to score by having him be a consistent threat, attempting 12.6 shots per game, fourth-most on the team. His 7.2 three-point shots per game were second on the team, trailing only Buddy Hield.
Bogdanovic is more than a scorer, though. He has all the tools to be a difference-maker for the Pacers should they trade for him this offseason. The Serbian guard has tallied 3.5 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game since joining the Kings in 2017. His usage and production have improved each season, making him an interesting option for contending teams.
While this is not an earth-shattering move, it is one that could make the Pacers an exciting team in the Eastern Conference. Indiana would be adding a quality offensive player to pair with T.J. Warren and Malcolm Brogdon but would likely part with Victor Oladipo. One other option, which would be ideal for the Pacers, would be a deal centered around Jeremy Lamb and Doug McDermott rather than Oladipo.
