Jordan Nwora – SF (Louisville)
Indiana may get lucky if Jordan Nwora slides a bit in the draft. He is projected to go in the second round but still may be out of Indiana’s reach when all is said and done. However, if he does drop a bit, Nwora would be a perfect addition for the Pacers.
He is a lengthy wing player who can provide shooting from the outside. Nwora shot 40.2 from the three-point line percent as a junior, which brought his career number to 39.4 percent. His size and length also allow him to contribute on the boards as he hauled in 7.7 rebounds per game last season.
Indiana needs wing depth, especially with question marks surrounding Justin Holiday‘s future with the team. A player like Jordan Nwora, who is a minimal risk given his draft position, could fill into that role in the next few years if the Pacers allow him to develop.
At Louisville, Nwora averaged 18 points per game and did it from all over the floor. He can attack the rim or stay outside and make defenders pay for giving him space. If he is available at pick No. 54, the Pacers would be wise to at least consider him.
