What numbers stand out for the Indiana Pacers last season?

The Indiana Pacers have been one of the most consistent teams in the league for the last decade, missing the playoffs only once. However, in the last couple of years, that consistency has become less a badge of honor and more a catalyst for frustration, having lost in the first round for five years straight and getting swept in three of those series.

Even though injury played a part in most of those losses, that is not the kind of consistency that Kevin Pritchard and the front office were satisfied with. Enter Nate Bjorkgren.

The Pacers are hoping that Bjorkgren’s experience with Nick Nurse’s coaching style, culture building, and success as an innovator can lend itself to a similar level of consistency this franchise has enjoyed, but at a level beyond the first round. But how should he go about doing it?
