Indiana Pacers: Four college stars that could slide in the draft

Immanuel Quickley – Guard (Kentucky)
Ashton Hagans is not the only Kentucky Wildcat that could be available with the 54th overall pick. Immanuel Quickley, who split time as a starter and a bench player at Kentucky, offers some shooting ability from the wing.
Quickley started in 20 of Kentucky’s 30 games last season and finished the year with an average of 16.1 points and 4.2 rebounds. He shot 42.8 percent from deep and 92.3 percent from the charity stripe. Similar to Markus Howard, Quickley can shoot lights out at times and would provide Indiana with a nice stroke from the outside.
He is not afraid to let it fly, even if his shots are not falling. Quickley took at least 10 shots in 20 of his appearances last season, most of which were starts. He also played plenty of minutes, averaging 33 minutes logged per game.
Immanuel Quickley has the ability to score in a hurry, it is just a matter of streaky shooting being in his favor each night. His best game as a Wildcat came in February when he dropped 30 points on 11-of-19 shooting, including 8-of-12 from downtown.
In my opinion, Quickley would be more of a developmental project for Indiana as he improves his all-around game, but he could be a very fun G-League player for the early part of his career.
