Ashton Hagans – PG (Kentucky)

Yet another point guard cracks the list as Ashton Hagans has slid quite a bit since enrolling at Kentucky. He was one of the biggest recruits in his class back in 2018 but never quite stood out for the Wildcats.

Hagans is more a total point guard than Howard but has really struggled to knock down his shots, especially from beyond the arc. As a freshman, Hagans hit 27.5 percent of his threes but only scored 7.7 points per game. He attacked the basket more last season, scoring 11.5 points per game and taking 6.8 shots per game inside the arc.

Still, Hagans was struggling to hit from deep, shooting just 25.8 percent as a sophomore. However, he shares the ball well and serves as a more traditional point guard. Hagans averaged 6.4 assists per game last season.

Ashton Hagans was near the top of his recruiting class and has shown plenty of potential. If he can find a comfortable role and get into a situation that plays to his strengths, he can get find some success at the next level.
