Indiana Pacers: 3 reasons why they will have success in 2021
By Luke Parrish
There is All-Star talent on the Indiana Pacers
If the roster stays intact, the Pacers will have two All-Stars in their lineup with Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis. Oladipo, who clearly has not been himself since returning from injury, can still be a very good player in Indiana. His defensive prowess and ability to knock down big shots are huge for Indiana.
Sabonis is the star of the team despite missing the end of last season with an injury of his own. He is one of the best offensive big men in the NBA right now thanks to his ability to score at the rim and pass out to shooters on the perimeter. But Sabonis and Oladipo are not the only star-caliber players in Indiana.
T.J. Warren had his breakout moment during the bubble last season, scoring 53 points against the 76ers. He led the Pacers with 19.8 points per game last season and is set to do the same this time around. Warren has averaged 19.3 points per game over his past three seasons but I believe he can finally surpass 20 points per contest in his second year with the Pacers.
If Malcolm Brogdon and Myles Turner stay healthy and do their job, the Pacers will have five quality starters in their lineup. Even beyond the starters, Indiana has an incredibly exciting second unit.
