There is no secret that the Pacers need some extra wing depth. With Justin Holiday set to hit free agency, the Pacers could be even further in the hole on the wing. Deni Avdija projects as a very solid wing and small-ball four in the NBA.

He is a well-rounded player with plenty of professional experience under his belt already. Similar to Luka Doncic, Avdija has played professionally overseas and has looked good in doing so. He is a good ball-handler for being a 6-foot-9 perimeter player that can also shoot when given space.

Avdija is a bit of a streaky shooter up to this point, but he is also just 19 years old. With more reps and coaching, he can become a consistent scorer at all three levels of the floor while also developing on the defensive end.

Indiana would have an immediate role for Avdija as opposed to Wiseman and even Edwards because he can fit into the starting lineup. He can play the three or the four depending on the lineup while being solid enough on both ends of the floor to make up for some inconsistencies in his game.

Deni Avdija is one of the best prospects in this class with a very high ceiling attached to his name. Indiana desperately needs a versatile playmaker to pair with Sabonis, and Avdija might be the guy.
