Anthony Edwards – G (Georgia)

Anthony Edwards is arguably the best player in this draft class. He was the top-ranked high school recruit before landing at Georgia where he flashed all of his potential. Edwards is a three-level scorer who can take over games.

In 32 games at Georgia, Edwards averaged 19.1 points, 2.8 assists, and 5.2 rebounds. He knocked down just 29.4 percent of his three-point attempts but showed his ability to hit pull-up jumpers. His jumper is still a work in progress but his ability to attack the rim or pull up from the mid-range makes Edwards a valuable offensive asset.

In this scenario, the Pacers could play Edwards behind Oladipo and T.J. Warren to provide scoring off the bench. A second unit of Aaron Holiday and Anthony Edwards would make the Pacers a tough offensive matchup right out of the gate.

There is still a very good chance Edwards goes with the first overall pick but the Pacers would be wise to grab him at second if they move up. Edwards can make an immediate impact as the Pacers decide what to do regarding the future of Victor Oladipo.
