Antonio Davis (1990)

The older of the two Davis “brothers” makes our list of best second-round picks in franchise history. Antonio Davis was selected with the 18th pick in the second round, 45th overall in the 1990 NBA Draft. Davis, however, didn’t make his debut for the Pacers until three years later in the 1993-1994 season.

He played overseas before coming to Indiana. Davis’ best season in a Pacers uniform came in the 1996-97 season where he played in 82 games and started 28. He averaged 10.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, and a block per game.  Antonio Davis was part of some of the most successful Pacers squads in the history of the franchise.

Antonio and Dale are both considered some of the best players in franchise history. Davis played seven more seasons after playing for the Pacers and even made an All-star appearance with Toronto. Davis is also a former president of the NBA players association. Today you can see him making appearances on various ESPN programs.
