Indiana Pacers: Ranking the team’s top trade chips

Indiana Pacers could move Aaron Holiday
This one may be a surprise for some of you. Aaron Holiday is a very fun young combo guard with a ton of potential still on the table. Holiday filled in nicely for the Pacers this season and saw a bump in numbers in his sophomore season.
The second-year guard averaged 9.5 points and 3.4 assists per game in a season that saw him start 33 times for an injury-riddled Pacers lineup. Holiday also shot the ball well, hitting 39.4 percent of his three-point attempts, up from 33.9 percent in his rookie campaign. Growth is always great to see, and he should be getting recognition around the league.
There were times during the 2019-20 season where Aaron Holiday was the best offensive creator for Indiana. He is strong when attacking the basket but also knows when to find his spot for a jump shot. I do not believe Holiday will be moved but I would not be shocked if the Pacers receive offers for the youngster.
At just 24 years old entering next season, Holiday has plenty of room to grow and learn. His offensive improvements have been wonderful to witness and his role in the NBA is a crucial one. He can play either spot in the backcourt and run with any lineup. For now, Aaron Holiday is the perfect backup guard.
