Which Indiana Pacers player will improve his rating next season?

I’m going to go out on a limb and say with a new coach coming to town, Myles Turner will finally have the breakout season fans have been calling for every year. It’s not all on Myles not living up to expectations, he has been fantastic in the role carved out for him by Nate McMillan: shoot threes, occasionally drive to the rim, and play defense.

Myles has many Pacer fans wanting him shipped out and saying he is horrible but look at his production in the limited role he was given. Then look at his stats in the postseason series against the Heat where he was probably our best player because Nate suddenly decided to let him play free.

I think Myles should have a great upcoming season unless the new coach is absolutely incompetent. Unleashed Myles should be a sight to see, we know he can shoot but his ability to slither by some defenders off the dribble is a highly underrated part of his game. Myles has been putting in the offseason work over the last few years by doing yoga and slimming down, which can be seen as a negative for his post defense which I agree with. Still, I think it’s a big positive for his perimeter defense and his offense because he doesn’t bully people in the paint, he uses some finesse.
