Pacers trade Paul George for Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis

After the draft, Kevin Pritchard had to set his scope on dealing with Paul George. This was a tough situation to step into with Paul George making it known that he wanted to end up playing in LA, leading to his trade value being lowered. That being known, Sam Presti still decided to take a flier on him in hopes of him staying to play with Russell Westbrook long term.

In return, the Pacers received the IU hero in Victor Oladipo and the young “throw in” center in Domantas Sabonis. Kevin Pritchard’s big first move came with ridicule and hate, but it ended with the Pacers netting two All-Stars for the price of one.

Grade: A ( It would be an A+ if we had a more healthy Oladipo and some playoff success)
