Indiana Pacers: Best player in franchise history from each PAC-12 program
Best Indiana Pacers Player from Oregon St.: Scott Haskin
Labeled as one of the biggest busts in franchise history, Scott Haskin was drafted with the 14th pick in the 1993 NBA Draft. He played just one season in the league and averaged just two points and two boards in 27 contests.
Best Indiana Pacers Player from Utah: Britton Johnsen
A world traveler that saw playing time in the NBA, G-League, Europe, and South America, Johnsen played just 26 games in the NBA. Only six of those contests came with the Pacers during the 2004-05 season. Johnsen scored two points per contest and grabbed nearly two boards per outing.
Best Indiana Pacers Player from Washington: Detlef Schrempf
Selected with the eighth overall pick by the Dallas Mavericks in the 1985 NBA Draft, Schrempf came to the Pacers via trade in February of 1989.
Coming off the bench early in his career, Schrempf earned back-to-back NBA Sixth Man of the Year awards in 1991 and 1992.
The 6-10 German forward helped guide the Pacers to the playoffs in all four of his full seasons in Indiana while averaging 17 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per night. His final season with the Pacers, 1992-93, would be his best as he netted 19.1 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 3.9 assists en route to his first all-star nod.
Just prior to the 1993-94 campaign, Schrempf was sent to Seattle for a package that included a key piece in many deep Pacers playoff runs in the 1990s, Derrick McKey.
