Best Indiana Pacers Player from Colorado: Chris Copeland

Chris Copeland spent a number of seasons in Europe before getting a break with the New York Knicks in 2012-13. He made his mark as a stretch forward that could knock down shots from deep. He signed with the Pacers the next season and played in Indiana for two years.

Copeland played 91 games over that span and helped the team reach the Eastern Conference Finals in 2014. In those two seasons, Copeland scored 5.1 points and shot 34.6 percent from deep. He played one more season in the NBA with Milwaukee in 2015-16 before heading back to Europe.

Best Indiana Pacers Player from Oregon: Fred Jones

Known as a high-flying scorer, the Pacers selected Fred Jones with the 14th overall pick in 2002 after Jones guided the Oregon Ducks to an Elite Eight appearance that season. He appeared in just 19 games his rookie season before making significant strides in the next two years.

Averaging 4.9 points in 2003-04, Jones also had his most notable moment in a Pacers’ jersey with a victory in the 2004 Slam Dunk contest.

The best year of his career came in 2004-05 when he recorded 10.6 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.5 assists. After another strong season in 2005-06, Jones finished his career in Indiana scoring 7.7 points per night and grabbing 2.2 rebounds while dishing out another 2.2 assists over 245 games.
