Indiana Pacers Draft: 5 shooters to target in the second round
Pacers draft targets: Killian Tille
Domantas Sabonis was an All-Star and Myles Turner significantly improved his outside presence this season. The Pacers are going to give Goga Bitadze a chance to develop. Killian Tille could be the fourth player to round out the second unit of the post rotation (five if you count T.J. Leaf) that has been seeing signs of growth all year.
Tille played in just 108 games over four seasons at Gonzaga due to a few injuries but was a key member of some dominant teams including the national runner-up in 2017. Shooting 44.4 percent from deep, Tille made one 3-ball per game over his four seasons while also averaging 9.5 points and 4.6 rebounds.
How would he mesh in the Pacersâ rotation? Turnerâs offense has taken a back seat to Sabonisâ rise which forced him to develop his outside game. Tille could be that in Indianaâs second unit alongside Bitadze. It would also allow outside threat Doug McDermott to stay on the wing instead of being forced into power forward minutes when necessary due to his size.
